Michael Silberman is a line producer who takes an unorthodox approach to the ordinary, priding himself upon his communication, delegation and follow up skills with a no-nonsense attitude and known for keeping large budgets and complicated logistics on track.
Silberman is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and has been working for over a decade on all genres of production inclusive of feature films, high budget short subject films to be exhibited directly at film festivals, commercials, music videos, corporate/educational projects and the triple Broadband Emmy Nominated show Stranger Adventures produced by Anne-Marie Mackay.
Silberman worked for mentor and personal friend Unit Production Manager Doug Claybourne, at Mandalay Pictures/IXTLAN during the time Oliver Stone was directing Beyond Borders featuring work on a 12 country, 4 week documentary shoot, lensed by Academy Award Nominated Brokeback Mountain cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto.
His past narrative feature film work includes “Love Is The Drug” for Alpine Pictures with Daryl Hannah, Lizzy Caplan, and John Patrick Amedori, The Most Award Winning Independent Film of 2006, “Self Medicate”d for THINKFilm/Lionsgate Pictures, and 7th Arts Releasing/Bad Habit Films “The Memory Thief” with Mark Webber, Rachel Miner, and Jerry Adler.
