Rebecca Barnes is a native of California and has been acting most of her life. After graduating from UCLA she ventured to Georgia to become a part of the bourgeoning acting scene. She took an extended break to raise her children then jumped back into the acting world in 2014. She spent several years of her ‘hiatus’ getting in shape studying various martial arts with her trainer at the Welch Martial Art Experience in Atlanta.
With new headshots in hand she shook the rust off her acting skills in classes and workshops and has been rewarded with roles in several independent films as well as recurring characters in two web series. ‘On set’ has become one of her favorite places to be! Her most recent project is the title role in the upcoming horror short ‘Auntie’.
Along with acting Rebecca loves being outside and walking, hiking or running. She is excited to be planning her oldest daughter’s wedding, loves walking and playing with her two dogs and is usually occupied driving the two younger kids to and from various activities. She very much appreciates the support from her patient husband and loving family.
